Our privacy policy sets out what personal buyer information we receive through our website or by telephone orders, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with third parties.  We abide by and are compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998 (herein referred to as “DPA”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (herein referred to as “GDPR”) which comes into effect on 25th May 2018. We are committed to keeping buyers (the Data Subject) personal information secure and confidential.

What data is collected, how it is collected and how long is it stored

  • Name, Address and Email Address is collected via the website or telephone and is stored as detailed under ‘purposes and legal basis for processing data’.
  • IP address is collected via Worldpay payments and is deleted by end of month following month of order.
  • Card details for Telephone orders provided by the data subject and entered directly into card payment machine.  Card machine receipts are held in secure locked location and destroyed ......

 

Purposes and Legal basis for processing personal data

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, the processing and storage of your personal data is performed by Survival-32 Ltd solely for the following purposes:

  • Contract – whereby processing is necessary in order to fulfil the customers’ orders and/or because we have been asked to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
  • Legal Obligation -  1. The MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) guidelines require us to retain data on specific products for the purpose of product recalls. 2. We are required by HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs) to retain financial records for at least 6 years.
  • Legitimate Interest – whereby it is in the interest of the customers health that we retain data for the purpose of contacting them if a healthcare product, we have provided under the contract or before entering a contract (i.e. sample), is issued with a product recall.

 

How we use your data and how it is shared

We will use personal data for the following reasons:

  • to process and despatch orders
  • carry out regulatory checks to meet our legal obligations
  • to prevent and detect crime
  • undertake internal company statistical analysis

We treat all information we hold about our customers as private and confidential.  We will not reveal any personal details or details concerning buyers orders to anyone not connected with Survival-32 Ltd, unless

  • a customer asks us to reveal the information or we have a customer’s permission to do so
  • we are required or permitted to do so by law
  • it is required by law enforcement or fraud prevention

Who we share your data with:

  • service providers and other contractors only to fulfil orders customers (the ‘Contract’) placed with Survival-32 ltd.  i.e Royal Mail and UPS couriers

 

Data Subject rights

Under the GDPR data subjects have the following rights regarding data held by Survival-32 Ltd:

  • the right to access and restrict the data held and processed
  • the right to request rectification of any erroneous data held or to update any data held
  • the right to data portability
  • the right to complain about processing carried out
  • the right to be forgotten

These rights are subject to any legal obligations we may have to comply to.

You may exercise these rights of access, rectification, objection and deletion by contacting us by email at info@survival-32.co.uk  or by post at the address stated above, mentioning your full name and address and attaching a copy of your ID, either driving license or passport (photo can be obscured).   We are obliged to provide data held by us within 1 calendar month of the request and free of charge.   However, we have the right to refuse or charge for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive and repetitive.

 

Miscellaneous

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove this Privacy Policy or parts of it at any time.  Therefore, we recommend you to check this Privacy Policy for modifications on a regular basis.  By using the website after having modified the Privacy Policy, we assume you have agreed to accept these modifications.  The last date of modifications will always be mentioned at the end of this Privacy Policy.
